Yes, I completely agree with everything you’ve said. Unfortunately, no one seems to be reviewing or overseeing the files that are being sold. I even came across a resource that, with the help of an application, I discovered was sending sensitive server data, including server keys and other information that should never be shared.
Sadly, anyone can create an account on CFX or its forums and start selling scripts on Tebex. This platform has become saturated, filled with developers who have little to no knowledge of proper scripting, and it’s frustrating. If things continue like this, I’m confident that within a year, developers will lose trust, and FiveM will see a significant decline in its user base.
I also agree with you that all resources up for sale should be thoroughly analyzed by either a human reviewer or an AI system, ensuring proper categorization and quality control.
I’ve been on this platform for over four years now, and every time I release a new resource, the next day the forum is flooded with low-quality scripts created by unknown individuals. My post, despite being quality work, gets buried and overlooked. It’s truly disheartening. Implementing a system where trustworthy developers are awarded badges, or at least given a separate section for their scripts, would be amazing.
Thanks for starting this much-needed discussion.
