Fivem is now using Tebex as an official server monetization platform for servers, but what about the developers that create assets and resources for these servers.
At the moment from my understanding, Tebex and Fivem’s partnership allows for servers to monetize specific aspects of their community’s. But there is no system in place for developers to monetize the sale of their assets and resources. Tebex and Fivem’s partnership should also include the sale and monetization of assets created by developers to be used in servers that purchase them. With a system like this added on to what is already in place, there could be a “legal” and safe way for developers to monetize their assets. With this system, additional terms to disallow the resale and redistribution of purchased content should be looked into to not violate any party’s copyright. A system similar to what is being used in server monetization, could be implemented with a way to integrate the monetized assets it any server by using Tebex’s integrations such as MySQL or whatever the case may be. For example The asset, once purchased from the developer will only work in that specific server.
I personally believe that developers will be very happy with a safe and “legal” way to monetize the sale of their assets without the fear of them being redistributed and or resold.
