What is the issue you’re having?

Hi
I might just be an idiot but I just got rdr2 and redm yet whenever I launch redm, and try to connect to a server it says I have to open steam to play. Steam was always open whenever I tried to connect to a server. And my rockstar account is already linked to my steam account. I did purchase rdr2 on the epic games store so when I located rdr2,exe for the redm set up process I had to go to program files----epic games vs program filesx86—steamapps—common etc etc. SO idk if thats causing an issue. Any help would be appreciated thank you

Made my steam account public
Opened steam in admin mode
