Better Interactions aims to provide Non-Economy servers with better interactions, as the name suggests, between Law Enforcement & Civilians through a simplistic and suggestive menu. With this resource you will no longer have to rely on /me for many interactions, instead you open the interaction menu and select the interaction you would like to do. The interaction selected through the menu will apply to the closest player or vehicle when pressed.
Usage: /imenu Note: You must be using the Shepherd ped for K9 Search.
Features:
Player Search
Vehicle Search
K9 Search (Drug/Explosive Sniff) Vehicle Only
BAC Test
History menu, for when you forget what the result of an interaction was.
For vehicle interactions: If the player is too far away they will have to run a command to respond to the interaction. Note: As it currently stands, there are no animations for these interactions. However this is a planned feature.
Bought this a few days ago but wasn’t able to test it until tonight. Those of us that did the testing really like how it works and have a little bit of feedback.
For the K9, it would be nice to have the ability to add peds to that. A couple of our players that RP as K9s prefer to use a Labrador ped instead of the German Shepherd. A config file where we can add additional ped names would be great.
Also, a config option to change the menu would be great as well as the ability to set a hotkey for it for those that would prefer that.
Ability to trigger actions via exports. We currently use a warmenu to handle grabbing and cuffing suspects and it would be nice if from the same menu, I could add a button that would allow searching a person to be triggered from the war menu so we don’t have to keep changing between menus. Either that or the ability to add more buttons to this so we could just use it to grab people, search them, and then cuff them.
For the BAC test, I like how it changes color based on the value typed, but it should prevent them from entering unrealistic values. I’d say anything higher than a 0.60 should prompt them to enter an appropriate value.
