I feel integrating this with AI is great for roleplay. But I donā€™t feel chat gpt integration is worthful as it just gives stuff based on reallife most of the times which is not useful for RP. If you tell the use of integrating chat gpt they will implement the requirement without using chat gpt.

What API are you using to request the voice sampling?

Itā€™s our own API bro

So you are hosting the backend for the translating voice to text? Is it open source or you wrote it?

just asking because I donā€™t want to send my voice to anyoneā€™s server without knowing who it is

Yeah Iā€™m hosting it. Itā€™s written by me, and you can be calm about ur privacy. We donā€™t store any files, and canā€™t even play ur voice on ours end. Files are only recognized and then deleted, which is done in miliseconds.

We need to make it like this, because of legal rights, same as the approval

So you wrote a fully fledged AI program just for a fivem script?

Did you not take any closed/open source scripts and modified it for fivem right?

No, itā€™s a bit missunderstanding. I understanded u wrong. Basically itā€™s using our own self-hosted API, but the API uses a google speech to text

Oh so you are using google speech to text for commercial use? Are you a paid customer of it?

Hello! Iā€™m not entirely sure about the origins of your curiosity regarding our financial operations, but of course, we have absolutely nothing to conceal.

We have performed an exhaustive search on the internet, and we havenā€™t come across any official stance that outlines any sort of licensing pertaining to the use of this API. We did, however, encounter a few discrete mentions by individuals on Google forums suggesting that this is a free and open API for everyone.

The boundaries concerning the use of Google Web Speech API are also not defined clearly since Google does not provide any official documentation or terms of usage for this API.

From a professional standpoint, and in the light of the law, if something is not explicitly forbidden, it is permissible.

I am just a curious person. We have tried to make this few months ago, but google started to charge money after regular use.

There is a limit on free tier. I donā€™t want to buy a script and depend on your subscription to be paid. That becomes a liability

Weā€™re running a lifetime version with one time purchase, so you can pay it only once

Hey guys!

For those who are curious to dive deeper into this fascinating system and see more unique usage examples, weā€™ve got a special treat for you! Hop over to our blog at Fivem Voice Command Revolution: Interacting with world by ur voice. Weā€™ve showcased everything from interacting with animals to voice-controlling your Tesla and beyond.

Canā€™t wait to see you there! :rocket:

Google only supports subscription based model right? How did you purchase lifetime API access?

This would be awesome to implement into my current and future releases! Well done! Hoping I can pick this up one of these days.

Why you want all that when you are not buying it anyways. Lol
