So I spent time saving up, doing several different jobs and learning how to do things, as this is my first city in GTA RP. I was in someone’s discord (not Horizon’s) having a convo about something that happened to another person and I then explained that I kinda have a sour taste in my mouth as I sat outside several car sales locations and no one ever opened during “daylight hours” so I could buy a car and that I sat around several locations for at least 20 min each and still no one arrived. I never called the server shit. I gave my opinion in a civil manner, never called the server shit or anything, just that I was frustrated by my experience. Well, someone from Horizon proceeded to call me a liar and when I tried to explain what happened, I got berated about how I should have seen signs or open the jobs menu to contact someone and that I’m just crying about it and was just a pure dickhead. Now I dont think this person was a top admin, owner or dev, but he was someone that migrated here from the previous server and he was one of the itialian name ppl. (I have seen alot of Italian names so i assume they are the servers “mafia”) Sadly, rather than taking the high road and maybe nicely educating someone that might not know how to do things, this one chooses to call me a liar, berate me for doing it wrong and then proceed to belittle me as he tries to find out if I did it “the right way”. Guess what guys, you have no tutorial, no city rules booklet, nothing to explain anything. So, yeah, ppl might not know how to do something, but you might not want to shit on someone outright, when things could have been handled in a much better way. Now I understand why the bad reviews are bad. And again, all this happened outside of their discord, so to me, that makes it worse, like ppl are policing what is said in outside servers.
