Hi I cant seem to get the server public instead of just local host after portfrorwarding I have done everything correctly I have had about 4 or 5 people check see what I’m doing and they say it is correct can anyone help me
Is your firewall disabled? Have you entered the correct IP when port forwarding? Have you left the bind port section in the server.cfg to the default value?
Yes all default but 1 funny thing is that in the server it says this
Sending heartbeat to live-internal.fivem.net:30110
not 30120 but in server.cfg it says 30120
because its a heart beat you dont open that port.
use this to be sure the port is actually open.

Is there a way to enable your pc to port forward or only through internet?

image 2 is the port forward but server is actually five M server because that what I named it
It all is portforwarded but when I click check port it says error reason no route to host
what does that mean
means something is blocking the port, you need to figure out what is doing it, make sure when you are port forwarding that you are enabling both TDP and UDP.
if your router has the option for port trigger or virtual server, use virtual server to open the port.
I actually fixed this issue in my opinion using 30110 and 30120 both on UDP and TCP and it seemed to fix it
dont know why as 30110 is just the heart beat but others have said the same thing… i have never opened the port 30110 before and never had too, interesting.
I have got it working now thanks anyways for helping me out
The 30110 send a heart beat and some routers will lock down or wont let it send a heart beat because of the foreign IP address and foreign port if im correct
That would make sense actually, its good to know anyhow for people in the future and this problem.
I have a nfo server I have the port open I checked with the open port checker and it’s still not showing on the fivem server list i even changed the port to 30110 and still nothing anyone have a idea how to fix?
