My friend and I just started up a server in FiveReborn and the moment we host it, it says the server is out of date and we have the newest version of the FiveReborn and it has failed to star it up because of something about a ‘handshake failure’?
- Make sure you have the latest server build (sounds like you do).
- Linux or Windows host and is it on a VPS or self hosted?

I don’t believe that it should fail to startup, I’ve never actually experienced that with the exception of on a Linux host a while ago. Failed to start or you went into the client, tried to connect and that ^ shows?
Having a similar issue.
I have tried reinstalling the server completely (including redownloading so it should be the newest one). I’m hosting it on VPS and using Ubuntu.

The error I’m getting when trying to join on the server is something like ERROR_WINHTTP_INVALID_SERVER_RESPONSE.
Havent used an ubuntu vps for FiveM/5R in a while but when i did i got the outdated thing all i needed to do was purge mono and apt-get install mono-complete (the latest version)
I host it on Debian using bundled mono. Works fine.
Hmm… I’ll try to reinstall mono and if that fails I’ll try a different OS. Thanks guys

I’m using Ubuntu instead of Mint, and my server is from NFO. Did you try purging/reinstalling mono?
How did you reinstall Mono? I just set up a server today and I’m having the exact same issues you had. I’m using the same VPS type from the same company, so hopefully what worked for you will work for me.
