[Server] Multiple Instance & kick (No Essential)

Hello first sorry not to use the model but the problem come from the server or I play.
I am not the developer of the server, it is I who post this message to lighten the work of the developer.

The server does not use essentialmode, everything is done by itself.
Obviously the server is up to date.

the problems encountered:
1- An instance problem on the connection. Some players are in the same instance, others are all alone, others also see everybody teleport. And do not even talk about desync in vehicles …
Have you ever encountered this problem?

2- The other problem is that some players connect, are alone in an instance and are kicked 15 seconds after.

If friendly people want to help or have already had this problem, I may have more information from the server developer.
The server is a dedicated: i7 6700K, 32GB DDR4, 2 SSD JBOD.

Thanks

Hi, I haven’t tested more than 3 clients on my server (I’ve been on FiveM for more than a month now, and all I do is scripting just for fun), but there’s two issues that I experienced so far :

  • Two clients on the same connection (15Mb/s) + dedicated server (1Gb/s) : While I was downloading some files on the internet, the two clients instanciated their own game.

  • Two clients on different connections (me : 15Mb/s, a friend : 500Mb/s) : No download this time, but some huge drops (10 - 20sec) while I was totally unsynced (not able to enter a car, and see my friend stop and teleport)… With 40-50ms ping.
I don’t remember who was the host at this moment… But I’ve seen many vehicle desync as well.

So I guess the problem can come from :

  • A limited bandwidth from the server
The hardware setup is correct, but what about the connection ?

  • Too much services running on the server ?
    (On mine, I got plex + some downloading/uploading (hum…) things…)

  • Connection/Performance problem from the client
(and if hosting, causing a host swap which make everyone lag ?)

  • Script optimisation problems ?
I’m not sure at all of that, but I was experiencing these lags with nearly no custom scripts (but with essential)

The best you can do is to check the logs from the server, but I’m pretty sure you will see some “packet drops”.

Also, some additional questions :

  • What is the OS on the server ?
Mine is running with Debian 8, on Intel Atom C2750 (8core) with 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD and 1GB/s.
I wonder if the fact that we run fivemserver on linux is causing these troubles…

  • What is running on the server ?

  • What do you mean with “done by itself” ?

What do you mean with “done by itself” ?
it means the scripts are home made

That’s exactly the way I understood this, but what I mean is what does this “home made” script do ?
Is it a MySQL server like in Essentialmode (old version) ?

Because it seems like you’re saying “if we’re not using Essentialmode, it’s ok”, but if the concept is similar, it can cause the same issues… (just saying that as a suggestion, I have no idea what kind of script there is really behind)

Another question by the way, to take into account :
How much simultaneous players connected to the server when the issues appear ?
