What did you do to get this issue? Trying to load into any 5M server
What server did you get this issue on? Every one

Did you try to disable/uninstall your Anti-virus? Yes

Also add what you already tried so far.
Deleted and reinstalled 5M multiple times
Deleted retail version of GTA and installed Steam version
Moved GTA files from C: drive to H: drive during reinstall
Turned off anti virus
Updated Windows 10
Updated all drivers
Adjusted graphics card for high performance
Opened GTA story mode then started 5M
Set FiveM_GTAProcess.exe in task manager details to High Priority
Tried deleting Scripthook file
Ran compatibility for Windows 8

I have read through the 5M forums and have tried everything everyone else has posted. I have asked various members from various community support channels and have tried what they have mentioned. I am able to log into GTA online as well as story and was able to at one point to log into 5M servers. I don’t know what happened to cause this, but I have tried everything I have read to get this to work. All the forum topics on this don’t have a solid solution which is why I’m submitting this for myself. Any help is greatly appreciated.

How many servers did you actually try? What did the loading screens look like? (Same ones or different)

I tried about 4 different servers. I can see the load screen switch pictures and can hear the music, but the load percentage never goes about 0%. Eventually the load times out after about 15 mins.

But they all have the same loading screen correct? Just different pictures?

Yes. When I try to connect to a server I’m able to download their resorces. After those are downloaded and the server starts to load I’m able to see the various pictures during the load screen but the % of server bar on each different server never go above 100%

This is what I see during every load screen for any 5M server. I’ve tried to let it go and after 6 hrs it never moved.

ah so it is the synn loading screen. Are you still having his issue?

1. Go to Steam account with GTA 5
2. Guspsy 5 Scene mode (main menu)
3. Without closing the GTA5 run fivem

So here is what I’ve last tried. I had a community Dev send me his working 5M file. Its been downloaded, installed and updated.

Here is an upload of my game file location through Steam and the other is my CitizenFX.ini file I changed from the one that was sent to me.

After all of that I still couldn’t load into a server. Tried Tuchi’s suggestion and tried loading 5M with GTA running and on the menu screen. Still unable to load into a server.

Found a solution.

For shits and giggles I thought I’d try and play through the story mode. Just after the 1st cut scene where trevor kicks in the security door and the player takes over Michael, he just started shooting and wouldn’t stop. He would run out of a clip and reload and then would go back to shooting without any input from the controller. Did a quick search for that issues and I had to reset my controller. Hmmmm… I wonder… Well sure as shit, unplugging and plugging it back it solved the run away shooting in game. Gave 5M server a shot and it loaded right up in less than a min.Well fuck me and all of this waisted time and effort.
