PROJECT PARALLAX IS REBUILDING

Project Parallax is a Serious Roleplay FiveM community being rebuilt for players who want more than quick scenes, shallow progression, and copy-paste gameplay.

We are currently going through a major rebuilding and testing phase, refining our systems, economy, management structure, progression, criminal world, businesses, careers, and overall player experience ahead of a future release.

This is not simply a server refresh.

We are rebuilding the foundation of Project Parallax around:

Long-Term Character Development
Player-Driven Stories
Meaningful Progression
A Living Economy
Player-Owned Businesses
Dynamic Criminal Organizations
Actions With Real Consequences

Businesses, organizations, investigations, alliances, rivalries, betrayals, and major decisions can all leave a lasting impact on the city.

EVERYTHING IS EARNED IN THE CITY

One of the biggest principles behind Project Parallax is simple:

YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY REAL MONEY TO PROGRESS.

There are:

No purchasable advantages.
No paid power.
No pay-to-win progression.
No meaningful roleplay locked behind donations.
No requirement to purchase a business with real money.

Vehicles, businesses, careers, organizations, criminal opportunities, progression, and major accomplishments are designed to be obtainable through gameplay inside the city.

Your character progresses through:

Roleplay. Reputation. Careers. Businesses. Leadership. Connections. Risk. Decisions.

What you own and who your character becomes should mean something because you earned it.

PLAYER-OWNED BUSINESSES

Players will have opportunities to earn and operate businesses through the city.

Businesses are being designed as active roleplay systems rather than passive money generators.

Business owners can:

  • Hire and manage employees

  • Manage finances

  • Handle inventory and supplies

  • Build their reputation

  • Create partnerships

  • Compete with other businesses

  • Participate in the larger city economy

  • Create new roleplay opportunities for other players

Some legitimate businesses may even become fronts for something much darker.

Build it. Manage it. Grow it. Earn it.

A LIVING, CONNECTED CITY

Project Parallax is not being built around hundreds of scripts that have nothing to do with each other.

Our goal is to create systems that connect together.

What happens in one part of the city can influence opportunities somewhere else.

The city includes systems built around:

  • Businesses and restaurants

  • City employment

  • Transportation

  • Government

  • Taxes

  • Banking

  • Criminal organizations

  • Drug markets

  • Territory control

  • Vehicle ownership and sales

  • Hunting and wildlife

  • Supply chains

  • Police and investigations

  • Medical roleplay

  • Prison

  • Civilian progression

The goal is to make Project Parallax feel like one city instead of a collection of unrelated activities.

CIVILIAN CAREERS & CITY LIFE

You do not need to become a criminal to build a successful character.

Players can create progression through legitimate careers, city services, businesses, contracts, public service, and relationships throughout the community.

Your character may begin with almost nothing and eventually build:

Money
Property
Businesses
Reputation
Connections
Influence

Civilian careers and city services are being expanded to create meaningful alternatives to simply grinding one job repeatedly.

Your character determines where the story goes.

A DEEPER CRIMINAL UNDERWORLD

Crime in Project Parallax is being built around more than completing robberies and collecting money.

The criminal ecosystem includes:

  • Criminal organizations

  • AI criminal factions

  • Faction reputation

  • Dynamic contracts

  • Group missions

  • Territory control

  • Drug production

  • Drug distribution

  • Supply chains

  • Organization alliances

  • Rivalries

  • High-risk opportunities

  • Long-term consequences

Your reputation within the criminal world matters.

The people you work for matter.

The organizations you betray matter.

The territory you attempt to control matters.

Sometimes the most important criminal move happens without a gun ever being fired.

DYNAMIC TERRITORIES

Territories are becoming a major part of the Project Parallax criminal ecosystem.

Organizations may compete for influence and control over valuable parts of the city.

Territories can connect with:

  • Drug markets

  • Street sales

  • Criminal opportunities

  • Organization influence

  • Rival organizations

  • Underworld factions

  • Territory advantages

Some areas may also be protected by powerful AI factions willing to defend their interests.

Taking territory creates opportunity.

Holding it creates enemies.

CUSTOM DRUG ECONOMY

The drug economy is designed around actual production and distribution rather than simply collecting an item and selling it.

Systems can involve:

  • Growing

  • Harvesting

  • Processing

  • Crafting

  • Suppliers

  • Distribution

  • Street sales

  • Territory influence

  • Player-created operations

Products have production chains.

Production creates risk.

Risk creates competition.

Competition creates conflict.

And conflict creates roleplay.

CUSTOM ECONOMY

Project Parallax is being built around a controlled economy where progression should feel meaningful.

Money should feel earned.

Businesses should matter.

Crime should carry risk.

Major purchases should feel like accomplishments.

Becoming wealthy should require more than repeating the same activity for a weekend.

The economy is being designed to encourage player interaction, trade, employment, business growth, and long-term progression.

THE UNDERWORLD

Below the legitimate city exists another world.

Contacts.
Contracts.
Factions.
Organizations.
Territories.
Reputation.
Influence.

The deeper your character becomes involved, the more opportunities may become available.

But opportunity comes with consequences.

Your reputation can open doors.

It can also put a target on your back.

CRIMINAL ORGANIZATIONS WANTED

Project Parallax is looking for serious:

Motorcycle Clubs
Mafias
Crime Families
Cartels
Street Crews
Syndicates

Organizations are encouraged to create identities, businesses, alliances, rivalries, territory, relationships, and long-term stories.

We are looking for groups that understand the difference between:

BUILDING CRIMINAL ROLEPLAY

and

TRYING TO WIN EVERY SITUATION.

The story should always come first.

LIVING PRISON ROLEPLAY

Getting arrested should not mean your roleplay stops.

Prison is intended to create additional opportunities involving:

  • Criminal networking

  • Reputation

  • Conflict

  • Relationships

  • Connections

  • Character development

Sometimes the person you meet inside becomes more important than the reason you were sent there.

WE ARE ACTIVELY RECRUITING STAFF & MANAGEMENT

Project Parallax is also looking for dedicated Staff and Management members who want to help prepare the community for release.

We are especially interested in individuals with previous leadership, management, moderation, community management, or FiveM experience.

Staff and Management may assist with:

  • Department oversight

  • Organization oversight

  • Community events

  • Roleplay quality

  • Internal communication

  • Server testing

  • Bug reporting

  • Development feedback

  • Preparing systems for release

WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO JUST WANT PERMISSIONS OR A TITLE.

We want people who are willing to work with the team, remain professional, help players, test the server, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the long-term success of the community.

If you want an opportunity to help shape a community while it is still being built, this is the time to get involved.

  • Staff Members

Most importantly, we want people who understand that great roleplay is something the entire community creates together.

The storm over Project Parallax came without warning. Sheets of rain pounded the pier, drowning out the usual noise of the city, while the ocean churned restlessly beneath the darkened sky. In the distance, lightning tore through the horizon, illuminating the skyline for only a heartbeat before shadows swallowed it again. The streets were empty, as if the city itself was holding its breath, waiting for something hidden within the storm to arrive.

Rain slicked streets reflected the neon glow of Project Parallax as a lone muscle car crept through the storm. The city was alive—its skyline buzzing, its alleys whispering secrets—but the road ahead was quiet, unnervingly so. Behind the wheel, the driver pushed on, the hum of the engine cutting through the sound of rainfall. Out here, every turn could lead to fortune or disaster, and in a place like Parallax, the storm wasn’t always in the sky—it was waiting around the corner.

The stormy night in Project Parallax only grew heavier as the city streets filled with mist and flashing lights. What began as a quiet drive turned into a confrontation under the neon glow—Sheriff cruisers boxing in the muscle car that had been roaming the rain-slicked roads. The driver’s freedom was reduced to a spotlight and sirens, the hum of his engine drowned beneath the wail of authority.
In Parallax, the storm doesn’t end when the rain stops—it just changes uniforms.

We’re looking for players who want to step up and start something of their own — gangs, MCs, or any kind of crew. If you’ve been waiting for a place where you can actually build and grow without being pushed into someone else’s story, this is it.

Project Parallax is still looking for Staff and Management.

We are currently preparing the server for a future release and are looking for mature, active, and dependable people who want to help with:

  • Server testing

  • Bug reporting

  • Community support

  • Player relations

  • Staff organization

  • Feedback and development

  • Helping shape the community before launch

We are not looking for people who only want a title or permissions. We want people who genuinely want to help build something long-term.

Small Project Parallax development bump:

Work is continuing behind the scenes on the server economy, jobs, progression, criminal systems, and overall balance.

We are focused on making sure everything connects properly and feels rewarding before launch rather than rushing unfinished systems out.

More updates soon as testing and development continue.
