Salvation RP | Growing the Community and Recruiting Experienced Developers

Salvation RP is a public, English language GTA5 Roleplay server on FiveM that has a standalone framework. For our server, we’ve been using a mix of original code, code available for free on the internet, as well as the occasional ESX (adapted to work with our framework).

We have a great development team with a variety of experience levels, but could always use more experienced devs to help us continue to give our community amazing features. We are looking for anyone with experience in LUA, C# or JavaScript, who is skilled enough to write original code, as well as modify existing code and bug fix the code.

You can visit our website for more information about our server, or our discord:

You can also join us and play for a bit to get a feel for the server before you decide if you’d like to help us out.

As stated in the original post, Salvation RP is a public, English language GTA5 Roleplay server on FiveM. We’ve been around since 2017, but have recently rebranded and are trying to rebuild the community and grow it back to the numbers it was when we were one of the few GTA5 RP servers out there.

I wish I could tell you that the server is over populated, but sadly we have an average of 30 or so players. We’ve got a lot of people in our Discord, but most of them haven’t made the leap to whitelist with us, even though the application is short and sweet. Although we do want to grow, we’re more focused on quality RP over quantity of players. We have a server with great features, but we need the roleplayer’s who think outside the box and are creative/immersive when interacting and creating stories with one another.

We’re not admins/dev/staff who make or take everything for ourselves. Basically we’re not an “Admin Playground.” We want to see a player driven economy and not only that, we want to HEAR your suggestions and make it happen IF it makes sense, can be done, and the community wants it. Granted not everything is possible, but we do try to include our community in a lot of the things we do. Being a part of a smaller community gives the players the opportunity to have a voice and influence the features and the direction of the server.

All we’re asking is that you give us a shot!

This Sunday, June 20th, at 1pm cst / 2pm est, we’ll be having our first racing event. The event is staff sponsored so there will cash prizes and opportunities to win vehicles! We will post more information about the races as the days get closer, but here’s the most important info:

  • We will have races that you can bring any type of vehicle to participate in, as well as races where we provide the vehicle so everyone is on the same playing field. If you don’t own a vehicle, there’s plenty of time to log in and work towards a nice car for the “bring your own car” races.
  • We will also have a portion of the races “protected” meaning they will be legal and no characters have to worry about LEO chasing them down, but other races will be “unprotected” meaning even though it’s still staff sponsored, anything goes between LEO and civs.

Normally, civilians organize and host their own races, but we aim to provide some carefree fun, as well as an opportunity for LEO to get some action, so we decided to host an event to bring people together. This is the perfect opportunity to try out our server and see for yourself what it’s all about. Anyone can participate in these races, just make sure you’re registered an account on our website, have joined Discord and linked linked the 2 together (instructions for linking Discord >>HERE<<).

The server is always open (step by step join guide >>HERE<<), so if you wanna get in and practice your driving ahead of the event or earn some money for a car, please do! Or, you can join your friends and help them earn money towards a nice ride. If you prefer to just watch and not participate, that’s okay too! We can always use a cheering section!

More details about the individual races will be released in the coming days on Discord, and if you have a specific question, you can ask it there. We hope to see you around!

Our inaugural racing event will be place on Sunday, June 20th, at 1pm cst / 2pm est. Because the event is sponsored by the workers, there will be cash prizes and chances to win automobiles! We will provide additional information about the races as the dates approach, but for now, here is the most crucial information:

We will include races in which you can bring any sort of car, as well as events in which we will provide the vehicle so that everyone is on the same playing field. If you don’t possess a vehicle, there’s still time to sign up and build a great automobile for the “bring your own car” races.
We will also have a section of the races “protected,” which means they will be legal and no characters will have to fear about LEO pursuing them, but other races will be “unprotected,” which means that even if it is still staff supported, anything goes between LEO and civs.
Normally, civilians plan and hold their own races, but we wanted to give some carefree fun as well as a chance for LEO to get some action, so we decided to create an event to bring people together. This is an excellent opportunity to test out our server and discover what it’s all about. Anyone may compete in these races; just make sure you have an account on our website and have joined Discord.
