As you can see from my hour count in this city, I spent 60 full days of playtime here. When I first arrived, the mechanics were phenomenal and it seemed like there was a lot of opportunity. As time went on, I unfortunately got to see the real side of this city; power hungry admins that wanted nothing to do with RP and showed extreme favouritism towards their clique. Gang management was nonexistent for almost my entire time here, run by an admin whose goal was to “keep Nico and the Fallen happy” and no matter how much RP you provided or how cohesive of a group you were, he couldn’t be bothered with you if you weren’t in his friend group. PD, believe it or not, was ALSO headed by an admin. Ask anyone who spent any time in PD or even on the Crim side, this admin came into the city MAYBE once a week if you were lucky and acted like he had been their the whole time and would take no criticism on how the department was ran. Some of the greatest cop RPers I’ve ever known were permenantly driven away from RP altogether as a result of this man’s behaviour.

While we’re on the topic of cliques, the staff here have their clique, and if you’re not in it, it’s just a matter of time before you get hit with their bullsh*t ban stick. I served out a ban that I disagreed with, but understood why I received, however that is not where this portion of my review stems from. An old friend of mine attempted to rejoin the city after leaving many months prior due to frustrations with gang management. When he applied, his application was rejected because he was not good for the community. Him being “not good for the community” consisted of him outting a racist staff member whom other staff members were friends with. He was otherwise a very positive member of the community. The head of gang management (as confirmed by a former staff member) simply said “no, I am vetoing him” in regards to this person’s application, despite no bans or warnings on record.
Again we come to cliques and power hungry staff; one of the most hated people in the city was finally banned after making some very unwelcome sexual comments toward a female member of the community. Hooray! Right? No. He was, for a while unbeknownst to the community, transferred to be staff (still!) in the Australian server before he was subsequently unbanned in Whitelist. So while the staff could not forgive bringing a staff member’s racism to light, they could forgive literal sexual harassment.
All of their mechanics have been bought (I assume) from NoPixel in recent months and honestly it’s hard to tell the difference now.
