Hello everyone! This is my first version of rugby system, and i hope you like it.
Play everywhere, spawn the ball with /spawnballrugby and choose your rules.
To avoid problems it’s better to play with only one ball in area (100 meters)

You can:

  • Aim with Q (Configurable)
  • Shot with E (Configurable)
  • Tackle with ALT-LEFT (Configurable) while running
  • Take the ball while running automatically or press X to take the ball on the ground.
  • Synced with other players (For any problem delete balls and create new one)
  • Escrow active (config.lua available**)**

FUTURE UPDATES: (NOT IN THIS PACKAGE)
(Please note: At moment i’m working on update for soccer/football system team match, so for this updates about rugby maybe i need one week or more, sorry. Anyway you can have fun also with your own rules, soon a video of 5v5 match)

  • Match system with score
  • Timer of the match visible in area
  • Fans system around the area
  • Every player around the match can see the score of the match
  • Change cloth automatically to your team

This is pretty cool, especially if people make teams in city or even used in prisons.

BTW noticed the script called americanrugby in the trailer, but the way this script works is just like normal Rugby in NZ/Australia etc. However American Football is kinda similar but less activity and far more structured so not quite sure what the goal is for the finished version between the two?

Well, you have right, I did some confusion about it (I’m Italian), so I search on internet and for me was an misunderstanding about some rules… anyway the team system will be with an host that can make players red and blue team, then will make score the team that with the ball reach the end of the enemy floor. Any advice on how can be done in fivem?

I guess yeah, you have the tackling which matches rugby and football, so could just make the goals win zones in the script.

Might be hard to apply rugby’s rules onto the script as there’s various rules around turning the ball over after x time or such, but might be easier to not try and perfect it and instead just do something around it like random team starts with the ball and then they gotta score, if someone tackles and knocks the ball then that team can grab it and try score too.

Otherwise script will need to reset player locations and switch the ball around to the opposite team.

Mmmh I understand now… sometimes the easier solution it’s better, just to make it fun without too much rules. I will do it like you say, I think it’s fun. The only “problem” are the clothes, I’m searching something cool that will be automatically set when the host set a player in a team

Search the all blacks rugby or the walibies Rugby on Google images and just make generic ones that are similar with diff colours

I dont know the difference between NFL and Rugby i’m sorry, the match system will be that the player with ball in the hand make score if reach the end of the field. Sometimes with my friends we play like this also without the system, and for us it’s Rugby and I’m pretty sure we’re wrong about rules and name of the game

even if its drawtext and all we have to do is press E it will not work and it only happens after you run by the ball or try to pick it up

Ok maybe I understand the problem , I will push an update soon as possible, I will let you know here. So you open a menu in your server with E, and after you take the ball this menu you can’t open anymore right?
