Rockstar Editor crashes when loading clips from FiveM menu (build b3258) - connecticut-august-cold / high-oranges-tennessee

Description

Rockstar Editor crashes every time I try to load/edit clips recorded on FiveM. This used to work about a month ago from the FiveM main menu, but now it consistently crashes. The clips themselves are not corrupted (valid YLPR headers, correct file sizes, proper structure).

Environment

  • FiveM build: b3258 (canary channel)
  • Game version: GTA V Legacy (1.0.3889.0)
  • OS: Windows 11 Pro
  • RAM: 32 GB
  • ReShade: 6.2.0 (clips were recorded with ReShade active)
  • Mods: openCameraV.asi, OpenIV.asi (disabled during testing — same crash)

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Record clips on a FiveM server (with or without ReShade)
  2. Go to FiveM main menu
  3. Open Rockstar Editor
  4. Try to load any recorded clip
  5. Game crashes with one of the above crash hashes

Additional Info

  • Clips are valid .clip files (YLPR format, 10-26 MB each, proper headers and footers)
  • Clearing cache (videos/data) and removing project files (videos/projects) did not help
  • Removing all mods (ReShade, ScriptHookV, openCameraV, OpenIV) did not help
  • GTA V Story Mode (non-FiveM) does not detect FiveM-recorded clips at all
  • This worked approximately one month ago — likely a regression in a recent FiveM update
