I’m running into the same issue, although I can’t play with steam closed even. But i get a different email thats not mine when trying to play fivem. Did you find a solution?

No i cant solve this problem too

go to task and close all of steam and then start up fiveM. once youre on fiveM hit your windows key and click on steam (starting it up) and then you should be able to join your city and play

This causes two problems. First, if you had to reinstall FiveM for any reason, it won’t let you log in, as it needs to update internally to the version the server requires, causing FiveM to restart. The only way to avoid this is to already have the latest version used by that server and to have played on the server with that version.
Second, when you try to load the server files, it will require you to have Steam open. If you open Steam while FiveM is already running, it won’t recognize it and won’t let you log in.
