In the games settings (and under the advanced graphics settings) set the parallax occlusion mapping to low and save it. This should fix the issue for you.
I am currently facing this same issue. I can run RDR2 just fine. Both in RDO and Campaign mode.
As soon as i jump into RedM, i can log into a server and can get 30 seconds - 3 minutes of game time before it freezes with the ambient noises playing, into a crash with the ERR_GFX_STATE error. (im sure its the same with OP)
Im using a 5060ti, and it clearly is a issue with 50 series cards. I have been searching for a work around and the big “solutions” don’t work.
I have perma deleted svg files
Optimized through Nvidia
Changed from Vulkan to Dx12
Parallax Occlusion to Low
Updated Drivers
Uninstalled RDR2 and RedM
Tried running rockstar as admin
There is nothing that is fixing this issue. Its almost maddening how much effort i have been putting into fixing this, but I would like to play the product. Ive played 400 hours on RedM before i changed my graphics card.
The fact the Devs have ignored this for this long is crazy, and now that the software is owned by rockstar they too have done nothing.
