Reliable network connection overflow error

Ever since i have started playing fivem, on most servers i load into the server and when i press to enter my character my game kicks me out and i get the following error “reliable network event overflow”. If i clear my cache i can play but if i exit or my game crashes i have to re do the cache clear and its very annoying because i have to download the server i want to play on again. I have tried to fix this for some time but cant find anything detailed and explained on the internet. I tried flushing my dns, did not do anything. My game also crashes pretty frequently, however its only fivem other games works well and my pc isnt bad. I saw something about neteventlog but i couldnt figure out how to do it. i dont know what to do, this is really messing up my experience with fivem.

Try using TCPOptimizer (no link, find it online!), as well as make sure you’re on a reliable (wired, ideally, NOT wireless) connection. If you’re using any third-party firewalls/antivirus solutions ensure they aren’t messing with any FiveM processes or network traffic.

i did the tcpoptimizer and i checked of some things on my expired antivirus but i did not change anything in windows. The issue is still there, i still get kicked out as soon as i try to load my character.

Try a few different servers (b2699 Test Server for sure and a few others of your choosing), see if that happens on other servers as well

i found a pattern that every server that you either spawn outside or in a apartment, clothing store works. However most of the servers where i load in and have to hit “play” to load in my character (i hope you understand) then i get the crash telling me reliable network event overflow. Its not always but id say 8/10 times. i dont know how i check problems or like whats causing it since i havent played for long

Hi, if the issue occurs only on a specific server or a few servers, I recommend contacting their staff to resolve it. From what you’ve described, it seems like a server-side issue, not something related to your client

I suggest checking the stability of your connection as well. Sometimes, connection issues can cause problems like this, so it’s worth making sure everything is stable on your end

my brother has a computer with worse specs than my pc and he can play on the server fine, never got the connection error. i also saw that in the menu i got a warning called “Warning: [entity] GetNetworkObject: no object by ID 135^7” and i belive that is something with my error

Did you try playing on the b2699 test server and if so, does it happen there too?
