Is it just me or the default remote control key is not changeable? I changed it to every key on the keyboard and its F5 regardless.
Iāve never experienced that. Try deleting the key binds from your fivem.cfg and try again.
So Iāve done some extensive testing, and I can use the keybinds to open this with no issues, but ONLY the people with superadmin in the server.cfg can do so. Is there something iām doing wrong? My vehicle classes are set properly for emergency vehicles and whatnot, weāve had 8 different people try, but only people with access are set up in server.cfg
No errors, in F8 or Console. I did add some āprint()ā's but nothing changed from my working end, and the other members end. Same prints but it wonāt open for them.
For starters, the keys are not restricted to any user group, so thatās not the problem.
Have you renamed the resource? If so, this can mess with peopleās key bindings.
Also, for the people that it doesnāt work for, ask a couple of them to delete their radar key bindings from their fivem.cfg (a guide can be found in the FAQ and Troubleshooting section of the main post).
So i just did a reinstall and itās working for some, Is this not working for parked vehicles? Weāve run through the full guide, and if weāre driving, it catches speeds, but when parked on the side of the road, it will only catch NPC speeds.
Also the folder name is EXACT as the instructions explained.
When i had the name as āwk_wars2ā it worked fine, but when i set it to wk_wars2x it broke and we can no longer open it. refreshed server cache, personal cache, and reset all keybinds along with resetting the radar data
If youāre trying to run radar at a 90Ā° angle, then it wonāt work, the system is modelled around real life radars and so the operational limit is at a 45Ā°~ angle.
You need to leave the name as wk_wars2x, the probable reason for it not working is because the key bindings are set to a different resource name. You need to go into your fivem.cfg and delete them so they can be recreated.
How do you unbolo a vehicleās plate?
Just click the set BOLO button whilst the input box is empty.
It says the resource doesnt specify an fx_version. Any help?

Iām currently seeing it on our server right now as well where the remote pops up but nothing else happens when you click the buttons.

Havenāt changed the name on the resource.
If we move where it loads when we load into the server would that cause any issues do you think?
Trying to figure this out and itās confusing myself and the other developers as it works perfectly fine on our Dev server but once we port it live it breaks.

Similar to aboveā¦we are still having the issue of the remote popping up and nothing being displayed when we toggle the buttons for both the Radar and the plate readerā¦Iāve checked the F8 menu and we have 0 errorsā¦we havenāt renamed the resourceā¦itās loading first before many thingsā¦just doesnāt seem to want to toggle the display if anyone has anything that has worked for them on their server can you let me knowā¦Iād like to have this working for our PD instead of the āworkaroundā radar we have currently.

I had that issue after changing my resolution. Try fiddling around with it and see if it helps.
Have you tried changing the load order? Also, try deleting your key bindings for the radar from your fivem.cfg, if you donāt know how to do it, check the FAQ and Troubleshooting section in the main post.
Yeah we changed the load orderā¦Iāll look at the fivem.cfg thing and see if that helps outā¦
