I’m using native audio
We also had problems where people couldn’t hear eachother, but they simply had to turn their voicehcat off and on, and then it worked.
Sadly haven’t messed with native audio that much, it’s known that there are some weird stutter issues (waiting on repro), though I thought the loss of hearing stuff was fixed.
If you can get any more reproduction please feel free to report it, though please do so in #general-discussion:bug-reports and someone more knowledgeable will be able to help.
Okay, so i’ve found out more about the problem where people couldn’t hear eachother.
We changed back to mumble-voip after we had those problems, and people still couldn’t hear eachother in MLO’s. But we think it has something to do with the artifacts.
Because when we used mumble-voip we used artifact 3454 and everything seemed to be good, but we changed to newest recommended and know people can’t hear eachother in buildings.
Can you gradually bump up your version to see where the issue started? I didn’t even think there were any mumble changes recently.
Lovely script works great!
Do you plan on adding a “Currently Talking” feature?
There already are one…?
I’m slightly confused by what you mean, can you elaborate?
I think he means like how vMenu shows when someone is talking something like that.
pma-voice already have that function.
When you talk the bottom left text lights up more whiteish
No. I mean it’d be nice to see who ELSE is talking. As in seeing names of the people who are speaking over the RP radio, or even just in general.
hey where do I enter this to make it work?
Hi can i change the [Range] thing because i tried everywere and cant make it i found where that goes but didnt make it work at all
You have to rebuild the voice-ui
So i have to make it from 0 right?
I’m not sure what you mean by your question, you can just build the Vue app and change what you need to change.
Not sure if anyone has brought this up but is there a way to add permissions to certain radio channels? Just for a little example the job name “police” can connect to radio channel 1 and no other jobs can. If so can someone help me with it that would great!
Would be something you have to add to your radio script, as it manages who can/can’t join channels (look at rp-radio for an example).
If you’re asking for server-side validation, it likely won’t happen as there’s not really a good way to allow the end-user to do checks without modifying the script (which in itself isn’t the greatest idea, as it’s frequently updated) I’ve floated the idea of using some sort of export to allow you to do external checks but haven’t actually tested to see if it’s even plausible.
Please remember, there will be no resource-specific anything added to the voice script, it’s meant to be as independent of any framework & any other resource as possible, as the script isn’t meant to just be for RP servers which is why it allows so much configuration, some servers don’t need radios, some don’t need players to be able to cycle their voice. The whole design is intentionally made to eventually add to the cfx default server-data repository.
Ye thats what i made but seems nothing changed
into the server.cfg
