50 player server, half the players cannot hear eachother, only cycling the voice on and off seems to fix it.
any help me?

Also happening to us it starts to happen about 70+ players and also when you are driving.

Did you find a way to fix this? i’m having the issue now still, even with native audio turned off, and 3d audio turned on, it still bases off the players camera which is pretty annoying as people complain about voices being too low even with maxed out voice options.

Just cant get rp-radio to work… I can toggle radio but cant broadcast or just use it

i need help @AvarianKnight the voice chat is not working but when we use the radio it works can you help?

/vol doesn’t seem to do anything related to voice volumes

How Do i get GcPhone to work with this voice??? can someone help please

Hi!
How can I use “exports”? I’m really new with the Fivem feature!
I’ve tried “exports(‘setRadioChannel’, frequency)” and “exports[“pma-voice”]: SetRadioChannel(frequency)”, but nothing works
my fxmnifest.lua

client-side

I dont know if this related to pma but, when someone tries to zoom using sniperrifles, they can hear the person near the zoomed area. Like the voice distance is somehow attached to the zoom camers

Hi i have a problem.
I used this option:

  • voice_enableSubmix
But effects on radio and phone doesnt work.
    Any suggestions?

I have another issue. I hear people only when they are close to me, when they go further we cant hear eatchother.

I mean on the phone and radio

How do phones and radios work with an external FX Server?

pma-voice runs on the external voice server, but radio and phone resources rely on exports from pma-voice. If pma-voice runs on the external FX Server then how can radios and phones use those exports?

All the external server does is move the mumble server the client is connected to from the default (built in) mumble server, to the external (built in/mumble-server/uMumble/gMumble, etc.)

All the pma-voice on the external server does is pre-create mumble channels and (if you have it configured) rejects all connecting clients.

Sorry for the late response, there’s a lot of questions here that I don’t know how to respond to or just lack a lot of information (like the ‘help rp-radio doesn’t work’), but it works for the vast majority of servers and I have no idea how servers have configured it.

I’ve tried to keep most of the code documented but some of it can’t be, because I don’t have the general knowledge of how it works submixs are a part of that, Poggu did the phone submix as I had no idea how to fiddle with it

There wouldn’t be a way for a player to ‘speak globally’ as their voice is limited to their grid and nearby grids.

You could have a command to increase their proximity, but there’s generally no way to natively do it in pma-voice

Sounds like its working as intended, that’s how it works in GTA:O too

Question relating, currently using the latest recommended build on QB, however since the update I am no longer hearing the radio mic clicks and it seems the SetAudioSubmixEffectRadioFx is not changing any of the output sounds.
Any suggestions on this fix at a bit of a stump at this point after going through troubleshooting?

So if I wanted to use the exports for things like radio/phone do I run pma-voice on the external AND the game server people are connected to?

Sorry for being thickheaded. Appreciate all the work you do.
