Hi, this is a nice script!, BUT sometimes when you press the direction key, the menu moves down or up many squares. Can u add a wait or other to the menu?

Like this script. What i’m missing: give permission which fraction can use only cordons, language pack what can change to everyone to his/her mother language, keybind change option (already use f10 to scoreboard)

I’d use this in a hot minute, but since I cannot change the global keybind, its not going to work for me.

A cool addition would be ACE perms. You’ll also need to add a config to change command/keybind (or disable either)

A possibly better way to set this up would be setting two points and the tape automatically draws between it.

100% agree with both of these suggestions. I missed the fact that there was no perms in this. Last thing we need is some idiot figuring out how to use tape and putting it everywhere for “fun”.

Point to point placement would also be really good as well. Have it spawn a little pole of some time on the ground where you mark to set the points.

Why can you not change it in Settings > Keybinds > FiveM?

I will introduce a config soon if you are unable to do it that way.

Hi,

I’ve actually coded into the script the ability to make the tape go between two coordinates already, just thought it would be easier this way on the menu.

For the next update, I will definitely add this.

I am happy to implement these changes as I understand people from all over the world wish to use this plugin. The ability to change the language will now form part of the next update.

Keys are at a premium as most scripts use keybindings. I’d rather use a / command for something like this and menus so we can keep the limited keys free to use for things like point, ragdoll, talk, etc.

rebinding key issues:

  1. We’d have to tell each person to do so, for something that is server-side, it’s easier to not use the script.
  2. F1, F2, F3, F5, F6, F7, F8 (Console), F9, F10 and F11 are all in used by other resources.

You now have the ability to set the default keybind for all players in the config.ini file.

Changing the keybind doesn’t work?
I tried simply changing it from F10 to F11 and it does nothing. F10 still works.
