Yes, it is completly independant and works with any framework (or without!) All resources in Standalone category on our tebex store work with any framework and some ESX resources work with EXM (it’s mentioned in their description)

Hey i was wondering if this works well with multiple pool tables in the same area (room)? with synching and such?

Hello, thank you for great question!

Pool works great regardless of table count, see the following picture, where one customer was organizing a big tournament.

Only thing to keep in mind is, that the resource is simulating physics for all balls and when over 16 balls are moving at a time, the resource can consume up to 1ms per frame for players near the table. That is not really an issue, as that happens once or twice a game (at the beginning, when breaking), but having multiple tables next to each other and breaking at the same time could impact performance negatively.

But when you place like 3 tables next to each other and players play normally, you shouldn’t really notice any performance issues.

is it optimized? it works with infinity and with extended 1.2?

It is as optimized as I could get it. It idles at 0.01 when not near a table, goes to ~0.05 when near a table, when few balls are moving it goes to around ~0.2 for players near the balls and when most of the balls are moving, it spikes up to 1ms/frame - but that only happens like once a game, when breaking :slight_smile:

Over 50 servers are using the script and nobody has complained about it’s performance yet

Just bought this a few minutes ago and so far we really like it with a couple exceptions.

  1. When shooting, sometimes your body gets in the way and you can’t aim.
  2. Would be nice to have a clear table option. If you are in the middle of a game and decide to stop, have an option in the table setup to remove all the balls.

Other than those 2 things, this is great and we are already having a blast with it!

It mostly is, but you get to the correct camera angle and it’s visible but the camera is behind you so you can’t see past yourself to line up.

One other thing I just realized also, you have 2 options for setting up the table, 8 ball and straight. I’ve spent a lot of time in pool halls in my time and what is commonly considered 8 ball is “straight or normal” pool. What gets setup when you select 8 Ball from the menu is actually called 9 ball. That is obviously much less of an issue as I was able to resolve the name in the config.

I do want to say though, those issues aside, this is fantastic. We had a great time last night with this script. In Paleto Bay in our server, the only pool table currently is inside my private house so I took the night off from being on duty as fire chief and invited people to come by for drinks and pool and our players loved it!

I would have bought this in a heartbeat if it were cheaper. Remember for other currencies the exchange rate makes it more expensive, like my exchange rate is almost x20, so quite expensive for other countries. Also, the cheaper you make, the more you sell, the more you make.

This seems to be an issue with some anticheat preventing players from being invisible (which is silly as it’s local invisibility, not affecting other players)

Would you be able to disable this part of the anticheat, at least for the pool script? If not, I could make disabling the player positioning optional and you’d be able to disable it - it would lead to player just standing wherever he started the pool, not rotating around the table as if he was actually making the shot.

As far as the ball configuration goes - that’s an interesting feedback, you’re the first one to point it out. The names/configurations are different based on country, from what I’ve seen. For instance, in my country, nobody really plays 8/9-ball.
