If your having issues with listening to each other then maybe find different staff. If your having issues with hearing each other then do you have OneSync enabled?
If anyone is having issues with not hearing the other person start at Topic 16 where it talks about OneSync. Cant always start at the bottom of a forum for help, most of the time its faster to start at the top.

how did you activate your onesync.
I use it as its and it works fine
set onesync_enabled 1
+set onesync legacy
