I was helping someone set this up and it failed to load the map. The config is just the stock one with the server IP.
Any way to make the map only show police blips? Only people on job as police in ESX?
Also how would i extract it into a web server or web site?
I’m guessing this entire project has been discontinued? His website with the majority of the helpful documentation has been taken offline, HAVOC hasn’t been active since December 2019. The yarn and webpack throw a lot of errors while compiling, and no matter what I do I can’t get it to work like it used to. Does anyone have and information on what to do? I’m having the biggest issue getting the blips.json from my server. I’ve forwarded the ports, generated the file, and did a little debugging but no matter what I do I can’t get the blips.json in my browser or on the interface. If anybody knows of the latest working version number on github it would be greatly appropriated.
I get the webhosting through modern solutions and they said they can not help me so I am wondering if I can get help here. The map will not connect. It just says reconnecting. Any ideas?
Nope.
Yeah. I was in the process of moving house, I moved the internet without moving my server (which hosts the content). Then this virus hit. So the server has no connection to the internet in anyway… I can try and see if I can get a temporary solution up and running but, you have to understand that I’m running on mobile myself.
Edit: website should be back up
Manually compile and pack? That’s all the website would say.
It should be exposed at http://SERVER_IP:SOCKET_PORT/blips.json.
And yes. I have tried to make the whole system a lot easier by using FiveM’s free proxy but, to no avail. If you, or anyone else, can help then… Please do, it’s open source for a reason
Short answer: You can’t.
Long answer: Look up at setting up a reverse proxy and using that to connect securely to resource running on FiveM.
Use the debug.html file and set the debug config entry to true. It should provide a lot more information to help you figure out what’s happening. Most of the time, the website is on HTTPS without a reverse proxy.
My developers made a custom postal code map. Any way to hook it up with this resource?
Does anyone know the live map link
where is the sight to see my servers live map
Yeah thats what i wanna know
Yup. Just get them to extract the PNGs from the YTD file for the minimap. You can then use those images on the interface.
Edit: Just place the YTD file in the same directory as the python scripts https://github.com/TGRHavoc/live_map-interface/tree/master/images/tiles and then run python extract_png.py. You will need https://pillow.readthedocs.io/en/stable/installation.html#basic-installation for your python installation. Might just be easier to get them to do it manually but, the scripts are there for automation if needed.
On your website… Where you should be putting the interface…
yay Havocs back lmao
HELP! I have tried like crazy to get this to work and cannot figure out the issue, even after reading every comment in this forum. Yarn is giving me problems even with a Windows server. I cannot get the Live Map resource to load. Can someone please tell me what is going on here?
Info:
GameServer: Zap-hosting (Windows)
What I’ve tried:
Added start yarn and start webpack to my server.cfg.
Tried both commenting out and leaving the yarn and webpack dependencies in the __resource.lua.
Here is the printout of the logs surrounding webpack and yarn:

Error data: yarn failed!
will you still help with ZAP support? I am trying to figure it out
For fuck sake. OK. Thanks for this. I don’t have too much time at the moment to properly fix the issue but, it looks like the dependencies for LiveMap have been deprecated. I’ll have a look at updating them as soon as possible.
Thanks for the quick reply! I’ll be looking forward to seeing this update. Thanks!
how would i make it to only see cops on the map?
@Havoc I have just got this working for the first time ever after many attempts but we have custom cars in our server including Law Enforcement Vehicles. The civilian cars are fine but the Law Enforcement Cars are not using the Emergency Blips but they regular car blips. Is there a way to fix this in the vehicle.meta or something?
How did you get it to work mine keep saying
