[FREE] Jim-Recycle - QBCore Recyling Script

Here is my recycling script, gotta keep the city green.

FiveM Custom QBCORE recycling script made by me from scratch

  • Highly customisable via config.lua
    • Locations are easily changeable/removable
  • Features several ways to get materials
    • Recycle Center - Trade recyclable Materials to get crafting materials
    • Dumpster Diving - Search dumpsters and trash cans for materials
    • Scrapping - Search wrecked vehicles for scraps
  • Customisable points for Selling materials
    • Add a Location for an ore to the config and it will use this location for both qb-target and a prop
    • Can place them anywhere, doesn’t have to be just one mining location
    • I opted for a drilling animation as opposed to the pickaxe swinging
    • Nicely animated for better immersion
  • NPC’s spawn on the blip locations
    • These locations can also give third eye and select ones have context menus for selling points
  • Features simplistic built in crafting that uses recipes in the config.lua

hi great work any way to make it work with esx ?

It’s possible but it would need a complete rework…qb-target would need to be changed to bt-target, qb-menu would need to be changed to nh-context, then everything referring to QBCore changed to ESX.

i’ve never worked with ESX so I wouldn’t be able to do it myself

amazing script my dude looks cool

You can do it yourself tho! Not that hard todo.

i will try bro :yum:

Everything worked well until the recycle job, I toggled onduty and noticed an area in the warehouse that says pallet but when I get close it will disappear also I noticed no visible object if their is to be something?

Also the entrance and exit locations disappear as well when you come close to them I have to TP into the coords.

Any thoughts on this?

Oh god, I know what that is. I’ll update it in a bit and let you know

EDIT: I was apparently pretty lazy when it came to sharing this script lol. I’ll make videos and a real description
BUT the git is updated with a working version now for everyone

This is pretty neat, well done

I just noticed a quick thing tho, when you trade with the npcs they start to tilt for some reason. Any idea on why that is happening?

EDIT: It appears to be happening when you don’t have any materials to sell/trade

 Well they do end up holding a lot of things, you’d look like that after a while too!

I think it must be something wrong the animation, I’ll have to implement a way to reset their rotation, I didn’t even know that was possible tbh lol

Sounds good, don’t worry, it makes for a good laugh for the time being

That high speed update: Fixed it finally. Had to change the ped and force a rotation change every time, grab the updated files from the github :+1:
