Change the key to one thats not used by keyboard. If you commented that part out it should still try to start a fire every 20 min based on the default settings of the script, grated that is a timer on that is running on every client so you should still get fires at one of the 4 default fire points.

sweet thanks i got it bind to numpad- However i found that you cant use jerry cans to make fire when this script is running… Is there a fix or work around? I searched the forum didnt see any thing

people sees fire some dont.

my firefighter says we see 1/3 of them
struggle when more people play

How can I change the keybind to require 2 different keys to be pressed?

I want to set it to use 2 different keys, say F10 + F11 (57 + 344)
I’ve tried the following:

if IsControlJustPressed(1, 57) and if IsControlJustPressed(1, 344) then

if IsControlJustReleased(1, 57) and if IsControlJustReleased(1, 344) then

I’ve also tried different key combinations, with still no luck.
Can someone tell me what i’m doing wrong?

Change the first IsControlJustPressed to IsControlPressed and keep the second one as the same.

Alright i said i would release the edits my community made to… SO here they are…

Here is this fire script that has been edited to be server side.
It only start a random fire is there is a fire fighter online. (needs to be firefighter skin, line 30 in client.lua)
It send out alerts to the fire fighters and EMS with GPS (firefighter skin, ems skin)
14 spawns added to the map have been added to the config (line 14 in client.lua)
I will add my cop notify as well so you can make the edits to your outlaw script for it to work with the fire script.

Server side:

This makes things burn

I will not support helping you edit your server to work with this as the only thing that needs to be edited is your gun shot notify script. The fire script is still stand alone

Let me know if you find issues or have issues with the fire script edit i have posted as it was edited to work with my framework but it “should” work with any framework.

And if you use it please say “thanks” or some shit so i know the KLRP dev time was not wasted for nothing.

If your talking about the melee noti the old one that came with the outlaw script was sectioned out as it was changed and made to work with the fire script.

Thats the issue i dont know what people are using so its hard to edit scripts in a way that they work for every one. Thats why i included the hole edited gps system for all depts of a server
