clearly i must be stupid because i have setup the discord connection exactly as your no audio video and your readme said to do. the bot starts then the connection times out. looks like its time to go back to searching for a different system to do this

Instructions are pretty simple I followed them exactly and the bots running in the server but the commands arent showing In discord. What could I be doing wrong?

Nah no errors in the client or server console I assume Im making some sort of mistake when building the bot because in discord it shows as offline but I have no idea what im missing here
I think that was the issue. Only problem im having now is its denying me permission to use some commands like refresh start and stop scripts
