I honestly feel this is the completely wrong way to go about your dissatisfaction with whatever situation may have occurred. Many users/players depend upon your base and it truly did work for the intentions you had, as it was with very minimal alternations needed. It was the elaborate scripts and the enormous amount of support you offered, along with other experienced scriptwriters that has drove the passion for me to learn LUA myself. I have had experience before but not with LUA or even GTA for that sake.
I really hope you decide to listen to the community and not whatever has left you with this attitude and either revert back or elaborate and support the community for the future of FiveM. I understand how much stress and emotions get thrown around… especially in your position and just want the best for everyone. I hope I did not offend you in any way… I would hate to see you leave the FiveM community but that is solely your decision.

None of this has to do with anything anyone said in this topic. And I cannot explain as then I risk sharing critical information about the project which I won’t do.
So are you done with this or are we to wait till something else is released…?
I’ve decided to stop with FiveM stuff. So I suppose you need to wait for someone else to come up with something

You are missing the point in what I was getting at clearly and cannot give me the respect to address what I had stated. I at no point was asking for an explanation. I am telling you right now from an “outsider” looking in, this is bad publicity on your part and I suggest you clean it up. Go back to your posting and put in the last mySQL version with reasons as to why you no longer support “this” version. From there, you can further explain that using “this” version will eventually lead to a useless server in the future if you wish to upgrade to whichever project you put out. I can guarantee you one thing… not a single person will be interested in your project that has now had to switch to couchdb with no explanation other than asynchronization stability, following with what appears to be you leaving the FiveM community. Take what I say for what you will… I have been down this road before and it is frustrating. So much so that you can completely ruin any reputation you have had. I couldn’t care less about what you just said, none of this was initially for the public at all.
Thank you for all the work you have done for FiveM and I am sure everyone else can agree. It is sad to see projects like this die but everything comes to an end. I wish you good luck with your future projects. Take care.

If you want, we could start to make a hook for different dbs. It’s just a simple backend anyway. That way I think all kids would be happy.
Also, it would be backwards compatible with older versions for people that rely on hardcoded scripts.
It’s going to take a lot of effort tho, but I could join you in this should you be interested.
Personally I don’t care if it’s MySQL/MariaDB/Mongo/Couchdb/SQLite or whatever it’s just a backend.
The hard part would be to try to figure out a way to do the logic in a way so that functions work for all DBs but hey that’s the fun part 
I personally liked the essentialbase, it was a nice way to quickly add your own code without having to take care of a lot of small and boring things
People complaining are just the emokisa bitching because their “megarpservers” with 200 extensions that they added, without a single line of their own code, do not work. People had the chance to fork on github and contribute their improvements. Haters gonna hate.

It will be great if they release something like that.
So go and tell the devs. FiveM is made for us, and they should know your opinion.

I’m aware after reading the posts today, but kane was still a mod a couple days ago so it was more confusing.
