[RELEASE] Bad-DiscordQueue (A discord role-based queue system) {by Badger}

Alternatively, I have some users reporting this error.

No idea, I haven’t had these issues

Strange. Just to confirm, we’re not touching hardcap (which I haven’t, as we like the server at 32 for now) and run order for the resource doesn’t matter. Our old queue was functional without touching the hardcap, hence why I’m confirming.

How many people are in the server when this starts happening?

We were 32/32.

#rip, nice idea I suppose, shame it isn’t working for us.

Check if other queue systems work for you. Curious if it is happening for others. I assume it’s not considering no one else has reported it yet, but who knows.

The queue doesn’t work even if the server is full, not getting any messages in console either. I disabled onlyActiveWhenFull and it works again

Do you have the latest version? There was a fix on that like a few days ago. You probably didn’t have the correct version

Yes I have the latest version

We went back to our old Queue resource for now, that works perfectly. Oddly enough I tried toggling the only active when full and it doesn’t let anyone connect oddly enough. I have the latest version as well, so its really weird.

Well, I use the onlyActiveWhenFull parameter on my server and have no issues at all. My server hasn’t gotten full yet, but no one gets stuck connecting, so I can’t do much if I can’t replicate the problem sadly

@ChrisLenga @SnowGuy Try the latest version, just updated. It’s possible the pull request code was wrong. Try this version

Will do! I’m rolling out a new server today so I’ll test it on that first.

Sadly, no change. Going to switch back to our working queue until this one gets fixed. I’ll see if I can try and troubleshoot it on our end.

Still not working, the issue I’m having is that the queue is started and all but it just doesn’t queue people, it kicks them for ā€œServer is fullā€ something instead

Seems we’re having the same problem. What is your max slots?

32/32

Interesting. As a test, I’ve purposely set my DiscordQueue manually to 31 instead of the cvar to see if that makes an impact.

That’s actually a smart idea. That may actually have a real effect. Let me know of your results!
