cant quite comprehend free time… I work hard 14 hrs a day at work for RL now when I get home my free time is less than 3 hrs I spend all the time on fivem and for someone to just release it is a hard descision, after all thats why there are all just copys of policejob etc nothing is custom for this reason most spend all their time after work making custom scripts etc to put in perspective I agree with scully
Yep the public scripts are pretty bad but there are some good ones, but I’ve seen private work and it is amazing. I’ve even made my own scripts but I don’t release anymore just because why bother? I mean I give it to my own friends and stuff but like really why bother?
You can do exactly what you want - within the bounds of the ToS. This likely applies to every game that you play, including those that allow hosting community servers.
And yes, that includes selling content from within the game for a profit - as long as it is done through the built-in commerce functionality.
So your saying we can sell our own scripts that we make? And use paid assets within our community? Which we should have full right to do since we are the creators of such scripts.

If it uses the built-in commerce functionality, which you can gain access to by pledging to Patreon simply applying for it, because it’s currently in early access.
There was a topic posted yesterday or today about when the public release will be made.
So no, you cannot sell anything for FiveM outside of FiveM.

You should take some notes on “derivative work”. As the usual doctrine about software plugins/scripts using an official API goes - they constitute a derivative work of the original, so no, you don’t have the “full” right to do so in any case when it comes to basic copyright conventions.
Similarly, does you making an app for Facebook give you the full right to use that app in contradiction with Facebook’s terms? No, it does not.

I’ve never heard of such commerce system and I even have people messaging me saying so themselves but I think that’s a bit much to just sell your work, like for example look at the underground communities, they have a nice system going right:joy:
