RedM works on first launch, then relaunch/build switch causes DXGI UI error or VK_ERROR_OUT_OF_DEVICE_MEMORY

What is the issue you’re having?

RedM setup/install completes successfully, but after setup, every time I launch RedM it immediately crashes with:
Failed to allocate memory for Vulkan.
VkResult: VK_ERROR_OUT_OF_DEVICE_MEMORY
This now happens on every launch.
Vanilla Red Dead Redemption 2 launches and runs normally.
System:
Windows 11 Pro 25H2
NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti
Steam version of RDR2
Troubleshooting already performed:

  • Fully reinstalled RedM
  • Fully reinstalled RDR2
  • Installed both RDR2 and RedM on the same C: drive
  • Confirmed Windows only detects the RTX 4070 Ti
  • Vanilla RDR2 works normally
  • RedM still throws VK_ERROR_OUT_OF_DEVICE_MEMORY immediately after fresh setup
I have attached the Cfx crash dump generated by “Save information.”

What have you tried already to fix the issue?
