This is already fixed in canary branch (see fix(client/updater): 64-bit file size safety when checking outdated f… · citizenfx/fivem@2618258 · GitHub). However, it wasn’t pushed to production yet and I’m not sure when it will be. I marked a reply with a temp hack, which will make it work again on production, as a solution.

Sorry but how do I use this fix?
I tried this, including renaming it back… once i rename it back I get random errors when attempting to open RedM
