RedM giving me a Vulkan issue?

i solved the issue completely by updating the graphic drivers from my gpu

I have to reinstall it every time I want to play it.

so my friend has had the vulkan issue too… after trying litterally every fix including a complete fresh reinstall.

we have found that there is a corruption in the dll files, when redM updates/analyzes gamedata even with a clean reinstall.

The only fix we have found is clear cache after every time you close the launcher.

Hi, to anyone still struggling with this, I have now figured it out for me. The out of memory is basically because your virtual ram does not have enough ram allocated to it. Unsure how my PC set the number to a low number but I changed it. Here is how to do it:

In your Windows PC Search Bar → View Advanced System Settings
Peformance Box → Click Settings
Click Advanced Tab in the new popup
In the Virtual Memory Box, click Change
Uncheck the “Automatically…” at the top
Click on Custom Size
Set the Initial to a higher minimum MB number, that is still less than the Space Available MB
Set the Maximum Size to the Space Available or a number close to it.
Click Ok and restart your computer.
Hope that works!

I’ve been having this issue for over a month now coupled along side a rockstar game services connection issue I’ve tried everything and nothing seems to work even tried contacting support to be told to come here I can’t swap over to Direct x 12 as I get the error others get with failing to make the UI thing this is just beyond frustrating at this point

I have found a way to fix this for myself and a few others
You need to goto the base game story mode and change your settings to DX12.
Then you will have to goto User>AppData>Local>RedM>RedM app>Data and there you will see a folder named Cache you will delete that. Once you have it set to DX12 you can run RedM again
Then you want to go to RedM Settings > Game-- on the main screen and make sure the UI lag is turned off it is the top choice
Hopefully this will help someone!
