Hi.
I’m currently running on ESX framework, but I noticed that every time I’m reconnecting to my server my ID is not the same, it keeps going up.
If I try to restart the server it goes back to normal (ID 1), but when I reconnect again it just goes up…
Can someone explain why this is happening?
Thanks in advance!

That’s supposed to happen, it will assign a new id everytime someone joins. if you are looking for an id that never changes and is associated with the player look into identifier
How do you the sugest i can make my scoreboard
What do you want your scoreboard to be like? numbered from 1 to 32 or something?
Nono, not like that.
Every single player has to get a specific ID, like1 or 4 or 100.
But everytime a the same player reconnects to the server, that person gets a new ID, which isn’t meant to happen…
So you want your players to have an unique id which stays with them when they rejoin?
Yes! Exactly! I just don’t know how to make that happen
Have you found something? I’m interested: D
No, I have not found anything yet… Still looking, without look though
Every player has a unique ID. It’s called their licence key. If you want to refer to a specific player, you use that, not their ID. If you’re using Steam to verify identities, you can use their Steam ID.
Or, you create a database of players with unique IDs, and every time a new player joins you add that value to the database.
That seemes like a lot of manual work
Easiest option is to use Steam IDs or Licence Keys to identify people. They’re always unique, always the same, and completely global. It’s how many scripts give admin permissions.
