I have been hearing that PC checking is against FiveM/Rockstar TOS but can’t find anything on the matter, is it truly against TOS? If it is can someone show me where it says so?

It isn’t but it’s also a pointless exercise that proves nothing other than a lack of understanding of security. You should never allow anyone access to your computer.

It’s not against TOS, mostly because any sane person would refuse one. It’s never worth allowing some random people on the Internet access to your PC to play on a server

PC checks aren’t against TOS, but the common saying that “you have a choice to do them” is utter bullshit, most servers follow through with punishment if you don’t go through with them. Its best to note most of these check tools are suspicious and shouldn’t even be used by both the server administrators or the player.

Except it is a choice, just a choice with peer pressure. If someone was accessing your computer without your permission that would be a much bigger issue and also a crime.
any server that does PC checks should be left immediately. Especially if they make you install something. If they are doing that, they are most certainly doing other shady things to track you.
