So I’m new to FiveM, (you’ll understand why after this message). So say if I want to have a friend help me with my server and I have a localhost server, how would I give him the files of the server so he can also work on the server as well.

There is no possible way anyone can connect to a localhost server.
If you want people to connect/help your gonna have to get an actual server that you can find here: https://zap-hosting.com/en/

That’s not true. There are quite a few different ways to connect to a locally hosted server.
Apart from that, it looks like you are talking about sharing the codebase while working on the server. Easiest way would be to create a private repo on Github that you use to share the resources.
