how do i spawn armor ? cant find the spawn code.

It’s defined in configuration, if you don’t have ‘armor’ item then you need to create it.

  • Re-organized and more optimized code (preparation for future update)
  • Fixed tablet while using camera
  • Fixed bug in ‘search player’ option that was allowing you to search yourself
  • Fixed bug with ACE perms, certain actions weren’t checked correctly

Update 4.0

  • Added dog leash
    • Synchronized between players
    • If your dog attacking somebody, you can release your dog from the leash or hold him
    • It has other mechanics to discover, this is just a start :]
  • Added another variation of styled menu (GTA:O Style)
    • You don’t need anything to install to switch to this menu
  • Added spawn areas
    • These areas restrict people to spawn/despawn dogs anywhere, but only at designated zones
    • It has other settings in configuration file
  • Improved combat abilities
  • Check your dog option now shows how much XP you need for next level
  • Follow
    • Added animation when you call your dog to follow + whistle sound
    • Added new type of ‘follow’ called ‘lead’
      • Dog will walk infront of you
      • I got more types on the way, but for now i’ll keep ‘normal’ and ‘lead’ types
  • You can now search npcs, also added option to search vehicles if you are not using any framework/inventory
    • Read through configuration file to adjust these settings to your liking
  • Dog receives XP if finds something illegal on players
  • Synced particles, so from now everyone will see your dog taking sh*t or pee lol
  • Reworked loops for better optimalisation
  • Added discord roles options for accessing k9 ( requires badger_discord_api )
  • Edited ‘ox’ notify
    • Bold text and showing position was moved
  • Re-organized configuration
  • Added command for deleting current dog… completely from database
    • /k9delete
  • And many other improvements that i don’t have to mention, because they are mainly technical or small things that will suprise you in the game :]

is the dogs speed editable? how fast are they in comparison to the officer when not attacking, will they run infront of them on lead etc?

Dog speed is not editable at the moment, but this feature is planned.
The speed is balanced for all options in my opinion, but i got no problem to make improvements if they get requested.
Yes if you use ‘lead’ option, it will make the dog walk infront of you.

Update 4.1

  • Dog is now able to get out of the car automatically, if you get attacked.
  • If you use option ‘follow’ or ‘go’ while the dog is in vehicle, he will automatically exit the vehicle.
  • Added some spam restrictions to certain actions.
  • Changed leash look/type.
  • Improved syncing on several actions.
  • Increased distance check for reviving your dog, while he’s dead in the vehicle.
  • Restricted some actions from using while the dog is in the vehicle.
  • Added ‘speeding’ feature (BETA)
    • This option allows you to change base speed of the dog.
    • Keep in mind this feature is still in testing phase. I didn’t experience any weird scenarios during tests (it could have some desync issues?), but for now it’s disabled by default. You can enable it in the configuration if you wanna test it out.
  • And some other tiny improvements, that i don’t need to mention… :ok_hand:

Update 4.3

  • Added multi-language system
    • Translations have their own folder now (sh-k9/locales)
    • At the moment it’s only ‘en’ (english), so if there’s somebody who wants to release his own translation for some language, feel free to msg me :] (or even correct my broken english lol)
  • Added error messages
    • These messages were added to help you guys to tackle some user errors without messaging me? lol
  • Added /k9lead command
  • Improved ‘lead’ option
    • Dog should be more faster and accurate
    • Also some optimalisation
  • Fixed ‘tracking’ issue
  • For new customers, you don’t need to run SQL file, it will do it automatically
  • And some other improvements, that i don’t need to mention… :ok_hand:
