Problem - connect database to vps server

Hi. My problem is that i can’t connect LOCAL database to PUBLIC vps server. (i dont know if it does matter) Everytime i get this error:

Is the “LOCAL” database on your own PC or on your VPS?

database is on my own PC, server is on VPS

You specified “127.0.0.1” as your database host which is the current machine so if do it on your vps it will take the vps port 3306.

it will probaly be the best to install a mysql server on your vps. If not you have to also port forward your database server on your own pc and provide that ip (don’t forget to change mysql configuration to also listen for outside connections)

Its okey. It’s solved. I used another database which is hosted on zaphosting TY.

hey i have the same problem can you tell me how to fix this i dont have a vps server
