We’ve expanded Vangelico to have an additional entrance. One problem we found with Vangelico is that often, the heist felt like the 24/7 robberies, one way in, one way out.
We’ve added a new entrance (with a little easter egg if you’re smart enough to figure it out ) that provides an additional exit for criminals, and new ways for LEO to manage Jewelry store heists.
We’re hoping to expand this to other locations in the future, giving more variety for how you plan escapes or plan police operations.
Following feedback from the community, we’ve reworked handcuffing to require a bit more interaction!
Now, instead of a mini-game, players have 2 seconds after cuffing starts to resist, preventing themselves from being cuffed. Certain animations (such as hands up, or surrender) put the player into a “vulnerable” state, shown with a debuff in the top left.
While vulnerable, players cannot resist. Players who are ragdolled, stunned, or crawling cannot resist. We also added a few seconds cooldown to handcuffing to prevent spamming of cuffs and we cleaned up old notifications.
