Hello there,
first of all i am not here to blame you. you made a great job to bring this back to life and stuff. We had to switch from a local hostet windows pc to a better server. we are now on centos with mono and its just horrible.
Every player gets some streaming error, nothing works, its just a big mess.
i can count thing all the day here but i think you know that mono isnt the best solution.
Thats why i am here. A windows machine that can handle 5-10 servers (we need them) is not affordable when you cant get money from you community. We are afraid of licensing shit from R* or T2. I dont know what alse i can throw in here.
I just hopes that your next updates will fix some stuff instead of bringing new shit in that doesnt work

Wenn can easy fill those Server.
What about all those streaming errors? It seems like the client messes files up. Every time someone connects different parts are missing or whatever. I doesn’t know what this error directly means or how to fix it.
You can’t fix those errors by yourself. Those are caused by the game. But i guess you are firm with Linux and stuff. Either you try a VM or you try Docker with Ubuntu. Maybe it helps. But on my windows server i had almost the same problems with asset streaming.

Set up external HTTP downloads instead of directly from the server.

@Boss i tried but it seems that mono just sucks at this. I dont know if its Centos fault or not. I switched now to ubuntu and see what happens. for offloading i can use the centos server. shoud be no problem at all.
