Pending Releases Stuck Without Explanation

Hi there,

I have 4 posts pending review. Could you please prioritize my free release (NY-Camera)? That’s the urgent one for me. The other 3 paid releases canceled.

I’ve seen posts submitted after mine get approved, so wanted to check if:

  1. My free release post needs any corrections?
  2. Or is it just in the regular queue?

We have a planned release date tied to my tebex opening, so the timing matters a bit.

Appreciate any update you can provide!

Thanks!

we now have 8 posts pending with no response while newer submissions get approved my team has never had this issue and dms to moderators get ignored

The more you submit, the lower you are in the order of approvals.
Also doesn’t help that we are in the holiday season.

Also from the release rules:

Posting in the Releases category is limited to 48 hours, this means you can only post a new release every 48 hours.

thanks for the info from my understanding the 48 hour rule applies after a release is approved, so pending releases shouldn’t be affected since some of mine have been pending for days what would you recommend I do to get them moving?

also these 8 pending releases are my first ones none have been approved yet so the 48h rule shouldn’t apply since they’ve been pending for days

You said it yourself. You haven’t had any releases yet. Neither free nor paid.

It is likely that your stuff is more closely monitored. At least that would have been what I would do.

I haven’t created a new release in a while (hopefully that will change again soon) but have had no problems doing so when the approval system was first introduced. Though I already had a couple releases by then and I think I have one of the highest achievable ranks in this discourse forum or whatever the software is called.

What I’ve read in other threads is that every time you publish a new release, it puts all your pending posts at the bottom of the list. If that’s true then you kind of shot yourself in the foot. Though again, not sure if that is the case.

That being said, I also would like more transparency and a faster approval rate.
Even if it is just one person doing that, it feels weird that we get it in batches of like 50 a time but only every 3-5 days.

thanks for the insight that makes sense about closer monitoring for first releases since I submitted multiple at once do you think it’s better to space out submissions moving forward or is there another way to improve approval speed? I’d appreciate any tips from your experience

Just wait for your stuff to get approved before posting another one.

The forum isn’t what it was with the flood of releases anyway. Your release is one of 50 being approved at the same time.
If you are genuinely looking for “advertising” here in the forums… this is not the place anymore. It helps certainly… But is it necessary? Not really.

thanks for the clarification that makes sense I’ll focus on waiting for approvals before submitting anything new

since the forums aren’t as effective for promotion anymore do you have any recommendations for advertising releases? I’m using my tebex store (https://roxdev.tebex.io/) for all my releases but I’m always looking for better ways to reach the community

Honestly? Use social media. Like all of them.

I hate all of them, so I don’t. Which I can definitely see in my numbers but what can you do :man_shrugging:

got it G, makes sense thanks for the advice! I’ll focus on social media alongside my tebex store to get more visibility If you have any tips on which platforms work best for the FiveM community I’d love to hear them.
