Hey everyone! I’m excited to share my Plate Carrier & Armor System with the FiveM community! This script brings a realistic armor system to your server, allowing players to equip plate carriers, insert armor plates, and persist their armor even after relogging. With this system, you can:
How It Works
Equipable Plate Carriers – Players must wear a plate carrier before using armor plates.
Usable Armor Plates – Different armor plates restore varying amounts of armor (Light, Medium, Heavy).
Persistent Armor Data – Players keep their armor levels and carriers even after relogging or restarting.
Realistic Animations & Timers – Equipping carriers and inserting plates takes time for balance and immersion.
Automatic Inventory Handling – Equipped carriers disappear from inventory and return when removed with the saved armor value.
Example:
A gang member preparing for a heist equips a plate carrier with a maximum of 100 armor. During a shootout with police, their armor is depleted. They take cover and quickly insert a Medium Armor Plate (+50 armor) to regain protection
