Description

Use the (configurable) /ars command and sound the air raid sirens. Configure which object you want to use and how the UI should respond to it! You have the option to change the UI client side and add permissions server side. All customizable! (Sound backend included and provided by LondonStudios). This script includes a customizable discord webbook integration. You edit, enable and/or disable markers, UI text and positions, basically everything is configurable in the configuration file. Check out the readme for installation instructions.

As usual, simple, lightweight and straight forward!

When I use “PlaySoundAmbient = true,” the sound does not play completely, it cuts out after about a second or two.

Cant we just use xSound for this… to get a free XYZ sound to play to every one within a range?

Hey, your suggestion has been tested and we do not feel this suits the needs of this script. It’s too needy for a regular install and the functions are basically not different to what PlayCustomSounds offers. Thank you for the suggestion though! :slight_smile:

ahh yes cuz having over head for a idle c# script is always the best way to do it.
I know 0.04 is nothing but it adds up with the amount of crap people run on there servers.


Yeah, valid point. We’re researching for improvements as well. We might make our own sound integration. Or take more time to test/integrate xSound. Dependencies which only work with certain requirements like actually having to list them on top in your server config and other small very important details make it a hard install, whilst we aim to provide drag and drops, you know? :smiley:

Valid point though, nice research.

Most servers have xSound running already as so many scripts use it for sound as it replaces/updates interact-sound resource.

So not to hard for people to add it as most already have it running.
