The FiveM Lighting System is the descendant of our EmergencyLS, and acts as an all-in-one configurable vehicle lighting system for the popular Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) Modification, FiveM. We kept it simple, allowing simple yet extensive text-based JSON configuration.

This resource allows you to truly immerse yourself in the thrill of the chase, with blue lights flashing and sirens blaring. The server-side element restricts controls to the driver and allows the driver to activate primary, secondary & warning lighting each with individually configurable key bindings.

  • Players will no longer control each other’s vehicle at a distance
  • Players that join after a vehicle is spawned can now see lights.
  • Players that join after the resource is started can now use FLS
  • Having multiple vehicles in one area will no longer affect pattern speed.

Is this backwards compatible with (standard) ELS or do I need to recreate our ELS configuration files?

You’d have to re-create the config, as our configuration files are .json format whereas the original ELS is .xml

Does this support only all blue vehicles? or can this work with red and blue too?

How does a fully configured config look like?
Does the JSON file somewhat resemble to the ‘old’ ELS style XML?
Can we for example create a script to convert XML’s to JSON?

This can work with red, blue, amber and green lighting

Sadly not sorry, it’s quite drastically different but it’s not hard to figure out the json file configuration, and there is an included example.json which can be copy-pasted for ease, with a basic universal setup on it

What advantages does your script have over free versions?

Do you have a resmon available to show how resource intensive this resource is?

Does it support specific sirens for specific vehicle (for example firetruck sirens and police) and ist in compatible with onesync?

It does support different sirens for different vehicles, yes. My testing team assures me it is OneSync compatible, however further testing is due to start soon

In relation to the resmon, i’ll be getting this uploaded as soon as a member of my team is available.
