that’s fair, was just wondering if something like this was possible. sounds like it’s not, or needs heavy modification to how esx works to get something like this to work, and i doubt it’s worth the effort.

might be easier at that point to create a new RP framework from scratch that has the functionality of hot swapping characters baked into it from the start. might look into that if i have the time… got some plans for an RP framework i want to try making already, but it will not be done anytime soon(or maybe ever)

Just wanted to share a HUGE +rep+ to Clink for an amazing multicharacter script and an even more outstanding costumer support!
Thank you so much for all your hard and amazing workl! :purple_heart:

one question, does this also effect the owned vehicles or does the second chat also have all the vehicles from the first char, because with an old one i had the problem that both chars and exact the same vehicles

That depends on your vehicle script. I would assume that any currently owned vehicles will not work, since they are using the old ID (if you were previously on non-multichar). However, if using this script, the actual ID of the character is modified, so as long as the vehicle script is using the characters ESX id, this will work. I use it without issue on ESX with many different vehicle shops.

Update Version 2.0.0

  • Support hotswap of characters
  • Native support for ESX - no more modifications! Just set Config.Multichar to true in es_extended
  • Ability to define default skins in the config
  • No more SQL file to import. Everything is ready with latest version of ESX.
