yeah, I understand, but some are still a joke to ask for money. It seems it is a new trend to make every 3 line script payable… kind of sad for the community in my opinion.
Indeed, you are both right, there are scripts that really deserve to be paid because many people here in the community deserve it but there are also scripts that are modifications that take 10 minutes to make to other scripts or scripts remade and put up for sale, those they do not deserve to be paid or have someone buy them.
Any script / asset could be sold, if atleast decent, the problem is how exaggerated the prices are sometimes. I don’t think anybody would have a problem with a simple but good script being sold for a few bucks.
The paid release which was mentioned here earlier looks, in fact, as a quite nice livery with some effort put into it. It is very good, but the price is set too high, yet it’s everybody’s decision of buying or not buying it. The same thing applies to most of recent releases.
And yes - the most sensible way to stop this trend of selling every piece of crap (not talking about anything in particular) would be to release good alternatives for free. But do so in a respectable way, mocking or making fun of is really unnecessary.

If there are alternatives, people have a choice to either pay for a more polished version or use a free one that miss some functions or is more basic.
