Important parts

What is the issue you’re having?: FiveM is starting with Steam Overlay enabled on Epic version of GTA V so I have no way of disabling the Overlay since FiveM doesn’t show up on my Steam library for me to manually disable it for the game.

What are you trying to do?: I am trying to disable Steam Overlay for FiveM only. I am aware that you can globally disable Steam Overlay via Steam settings but I don’t want to do that. So, it would be nice if there was an option in FiveM settings to disable Steam Overlay.

What have you tried already to fix the issue?: Basic stuff.

Error screenshot (if any): No

What did you do to get this issue?: Start FiveM.

What server did you get this issue on? Be specific and name some, ‘all of them’ by itself isn’t useful!: Not Relevant

Steam automatically injects its overlay when initializing Steam API for authentication, you’re going to have to ask them to make such a feature, we have no control over this.

I thought there was an option in SteamAPI to disable exactly that?

you can use fivem without steam, but most servers use the steam api :+1:

Well, I don’t want to exit Steam every time I want to launch FiveM and I prefer Steam tracking my playtime on FiveM anyways.
