:sparkles: Why NPC Hostages?

NPC Hostages transforms ordinary pedestrians into fully interactive hostages, bringing meaningful roleplay to robberies, negotiations, gang conflicts, police standoffs, and countless other scenarios.

Perfect for growing communities and low-population servers looking to create engaging criminal roleplay without relying entirely on other players.

:glowing_star: Features

:person_standing: Dynamic Hostage AI

Capture pedestrians using configurable weapons by simply aiming and holding the interaction key.

Every hostage behaves differently depending on the situation.

:fearful: Advanced Fear System

Hostages continuously evaluate their surroundings.

Their decisions are influenced by factors including:

  • Whether the captor is aiming
  • Nearby armed players
  • Individual courage
  • Overall danger

Some surrender immediately.

Some attempt to flee.

Some may even fight back.

:water_pistol: Armed Civilian Resistance

Not every civilian is defenseless.

Occasionally you’ll encounter armed pedestrians who decide to resist instead of surrendering, creating unpredictable and exciting encounters.

:studio_microphone: Immersive Voice Acting

Featuring 150+ unique voice lines across male and female NPCs, every interaction feels more believable and immersive.

:bullseye: Rich Hostage Interactions

A feature-rich 10-option Radial Menu allows you to:

  • Cuff
  • Kneel
  • Follow
  • Human Shield
  • Load into Vehicles
  • Search
  • Rob
  • Transfer to Another Player
  • Release
  • And much more

Smooth animations and natural transitions help every interaction blend seamlessly into roleplay.

:handshake: Multiplayer Support

Hostages aren’t tied to one player.

Transfer them between teammates during robberies, negotiations, or any coordinated RP scenario.

:money_bag: Search & Loot

Search and rob hostages for configurable rewards.

Built-in anti-exploit protection prevents abuse while keeping the mechanic rewarding.

:gear: Comprehensive Admin Dashboard

Everything is managed through an intuitive in-game Admin Dashboard.

Configure:

  • Client & Server Cooldowns
  • Weapon Allowlists
  • Job Blacklists
  • Pedestrian Blacklists
  • Police Requirements
  • Loot Rewards
  • Bystander Behaviour
  • Armed NPC Chance
  • Discord Webhooks
  • And much more

No gameplay-related Lua editing required.

:oncoming_police_car: Dispatch Integration

NPC Hostages includes built-in support for most popular FiveM dispatch systems.

If your preferred dispatch isn’t supported yet, we’ll happily add compatibility.

Can this be done with players together?

Yes. One of the members can get the hostage. But yes it would only be controllable by the the same person.

Any news on ESX? Waiting for that to buy.

Update on ESX Version

ESX Version is now available on TEBEX!
The ESX Version uses Mythic Progressbar and QTarget for full functionality, except that, almost everything is the SAME

Is there have a standalone version? Or can I change it to a standalone version?

There is no standalone version at the moment.
In case you wish to convert, callbacks, notifications, and Addition of Money would be some things that would require changes.

ip locked/ encrypted? is compatible with esx 1.1? sorry noob question

Non-obfuscated, no ip-lock, is compatible with ESX 1.1, if it wouldn’t work, I am always available to help on DCord, or refund if we can’t make it to work.

Recommend this script 100%, adds more ability for people to use actual hostages instead of RP’ing these hostages. Works well.

Is this updated to the latest QBCore standards that doesn’t use the import.lua?
