No such command sv_licensekey

I put my license key in my server.cfg but in my console it comes up with “No such command sv_licensekey.”

Try setting it like this, and make sure you’re using the latest server artifacts version (for windows that’s 507, not 2xx):

sv_licenseKey "keyHere"

i did that and it still comes up with it

Are you absolutely sure you’re using the latest server version?

Also, please show your full server.cfg file. (of course, any passwords and the license key itself changed to something non-sensitive)

i just reinstalled it and it is now working

but now my server isn’t showing on the server list (i can still connect through direct connect)

Note that it could take up to 8 minutes before your second heartbeat is sent to the master. Which means that it could take up to 8 minutes for your server to show up.

Also make sure you dont have

sv_master1 ""

in your server.cfg file.
